“Overall I would recommend Hotel Carla, better than a lot of 4 star properties I have stayed in across Europe.”

The location is great and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Free bikes and beach towels were also extremely useful. The rooms are quite small if you have two large suitcases, and the shower is also very small.

“Traumurlaub”

Great hotel in an excellent location. Ten minutes on foot to the train station to explore Cinque Terre and ten minutes to the center and beach of Levanto. Seven minutes by train from the station to Monte‑Rosso. We also took a simple boat trip from the pier in Levanto to the five most beautiful villages on Earth. The hotel was simple but very clean and had everything we needed. The breakfast was great and the staff friendly, and a superb parking spot for 15 € for five days was provided for our car that we didn’t use all week. We had a wonderful time in Levanto and could explore all the Cinque Terre villages extensively and very easily because the station was right outside the door. We even took a day trip in the opposite direction by train to Genoa and visited Portofino, the city of the rich and beautiful. It was also very impressive and, as mentioned, very simple and easy by train and boat. For us, one of the most beautiful holidays we’ve had. Of course we were lucky with the weather, six days of sunshine and 29/30 °C at the end of August. I have nothing else to add.
