Ian greeted us right after parking and carried our luggage inside, and he kept up great service all through our stay. The B&B sits in a superb spot, just a few minutes’ walk from several good restaurants and near Lago Argentina. Breakfast was tasty, featuring homemade bread, fruit, cereal, and eggs. Posada Karut Josh is a hidden gem and a great bargain.

The room was very quiet; Tatiana and Ian were friendly and charming, and breakfast was very pleasant. There’s also the option to dine there.

Ian and his wife are more than excellent hosts—they’re very kind people. The lodge meets structural expectations, but the relationship with Ian and his wife makes the stay incredible. Their local tips are invaluable.

We really enjoyed staying with Ian and Tatiana. They were incredibly accommodating, generous, and made us feel very welcome throughout. The views were superb, and the beef sandwiches and breakfasts were great. Overall, a fantastic experience that I’d definitely recommend.

We had a great stay at Posada Karut Josh! The hosts were lovely and gave us lots of great tips on where to eat and what to see in Calafate. The room was clean and comfortable, and the homemade breakfast was delicious. The location was also great. We felt very welcome and would definitely stay here again!
