The view and location are excellent, quiet and safe for kids, and the staff are very friendly. The on‑site shop offers great local products. It’s a shame there isn’t a baby cot or a portable crib, even though we were told it would be available; the cot that was provided wasn’t suitable for a small child.

The lake view is gorgeous—if you’re in the right room! The drive is steep, narrow, and almost impossible with a car and bike rack; it’s downright dangerous, especially with oncoming traffic. We had to drop the bike rack before arriving, and the listing never mentioned this. Our room, named Zone, was dark with no lake view; the bedroom window faced the cliff behind the house, so the shutters were closed. Breakfast was very modest—just toast for bread. The value for money doesn’t hold up.

The people are very friendly and the atmosphere is cozy. Breakfast was excellent and the dinner from Mamas Kitchen was outstanding. The drive is quite adventurous and not suitable for every vehicle.

The view was spectacular. Breakfast could have been better, especially the bread selection. It would have helped to know in advance that nothing would be served in the evenings, and the drive is an adventure for larger cars.
