The breakfast was tasty, yet I’d have liked more choices to pick from, the room itself was spacious and lovely, but there was a drinks menu in the room that nobody ever came to serve.

We chose Fairview Manor as a stopover after landing in Johannesburg before heading to Welgevonden National Park, and it was the perfect choice. The location is highly convenient and feels very safe. The room was cozy with a great hot shower, the breakfast was delicious, and the hosts were incredibly welcoming and nice. Highly recommended!. While it makes the place safe, the entry procedure at the gate is quite annoying. You have to show your ID, enter a PIN, etc. every single time you return, even if you just left for a quick moment
