Marmara Deluxe Hotel

The staff were truly amazing. I made a request on my first night regarding my allergies and they were very kind, comprehensive, and helpful. Great value for money and the location was perfect; you can walk to major sites and public transportation is very close.

“A little tired but comfortable enough and fine for a couple of nights”

The location was very good, and the staff were friendly and helpful. There was a problem with hot water that took a while to fix, but it didn’t spoil the stay.

Besides the location, there were no more positives to find. We lived 2 days without hot water, which could have ended the stay and made everyone realize it’s not worth booking here. The room was ruined, dirty, with black mold in the shower, and the soundproofing was awful. They gave us a room next to the so‑called restaurant, where staff talked loudly and plates and spoons clanged all night. Breakfast was a single name, a lot of bread and an undercooked omelet (only 2 spoons left by 9 am), a few cucumbers and tomatoes, and the coffee tasted like fuel oil. On the second day, they didn’t even bring it. The furniture was old, with a smell. We didn’t sleep or shower for two days; the hotel is just a hotel! For that money, everything should be at least acceptable. Two nearby hotels where we had stayed many times were fully booked for the first two days, so we had to book here – the biggest mistake, don’t repeat it, please. Stay at the neighboring ones; the location is indeed very good, but everything else here is just trash! I’m not even sure what they mean by “hamam”; if there’s no hot water and the shower door doesn’t close, it’s shameful.

I stayed with my family and the room was perfect, the breakfast was excellent and the staff were genuinely friendly. Nothing to add.
