The room wasn’t dirty, it was filthy. You had to wear shoes just to walk across the floor. The tub/shower lacked a drain cover and so did the sink. Mold grew in the bathroom and on the ceiling in the main room, setting my allergies on fire. I was totally disappointed with everything about the room. Yes, we had pets, both potty trained. We had to leave them in the room on Wednesday night and for a couple of hours on Thursday. Our room was never cleaned when we returned. We had no clean linens and the desk did not have any. We had to wait until Friday morning to ask the desk again for clean linens, and again our room was never cleaned. I never left the room on Friday. We used the linen we had left from Thursday. I was very disappointed in our entire stay, and they charged my family a second time for pets $75 and whatever the $50 was for. I will hope I never have to stay in another of your Motels/hotels again, and I WILL pass this disgusting experience on to others. The room should have been cleaned, and clean linen kept at the desk in case someone needed it. You should do something about the mold and mildew. The desk staff was only halfway pleasant.

The staff were polite and helpful, but the location was hard to get to; you can only enter from the southbound lanes of highway 17. My room wasn’t serviced the entire time I was there; I had to ask for additional supplies. The fittings were in poor condition, the towel rack in the bathroom was pulling away from the wall, and paint was peeling and chipping. Also, the shower never seemed to provide hot water.

We needed a place to stay for one night as part of a longer road trip. This was a functional stop—good location, easy to find, easy to park, relatively comfortable. Sometimes there is a lack of feeling of security; it would feel better if the site had a security guard patrolling.
