A fantastic hotel on a stunningly beautiful site. Service was very good. The restaurant staff were super‑friendly, knowledgeable, attentive and pleasant. The pool area was nice. The beds were comfortable and cozy. It’s hard to describe this hotel; it has to be experienced.

The only word that captures our two‑night stay at this one‑of‑a‑kind place is magical; our room was huge, super comfy, yet still kept its historic charm. The pool area was incredibly relaxing and distinct. On Saturday night a free concert by one of Italy’s and the world’s top classical pianists in the former church was amazing. I had high expectations and this place surpassed them. The photos can’t do it justice.

A truly special and beautiful place with a unique atmosphere. The apartments are enormous, very comfortable, and full of historic character, with excellent-quality bed linen. Breakfast was elegant and very enjoyable. All the staff were kind and helpful, but I would especially like to mention **Liisa** for her warm, professional and genuinely pleasant attitude. What I especially loved was the feeling that you are not simply staying in a hotel, but actually living in an entire historic **borgo**. It makes the experience very special and truly memorable. The wellness experience was also good, and the massage therapist was skilled and did her job well — although perhaps a little more smiling would make the experience even nicer. :) The only area that, in our opinion, could be improved is the restaurant. It was the one part of the stay that did not quite feel on the same level as everything else. Everything else was excellent, and I am very happy to have found another place in Umbria that I would definitely love to return to

“Castello Di Postignano is a perfect place to relax and enjoy Umbria.”

The staff work very hard in a friendly and professional way to make guests stay as good as possible. Parking is easy , at the base of the village. Our room was very spacious, with a bedroom and living room, very comfortable bed and fantastic view across the valley. Breakfast is excellent, everything brought to the table, always a cooked option alongside the tiered presentation of cold cuts, savouries and pastries. A very large and well appointed room - we had a Superior suite for 2. The village has been beautifully restored - a stunning location to look out from and into. The pool area is exceptionally tidy, is immersed in a beautiful garden landscape and very peaceful. Dinner options are very interesting with locally sourced produce, well cooked and presented, and supported by a superb wine list
