The hotel manager was extremely helpful and lovely, always ready to assist and recommend places to visit. Everything else was great: clean rooms, perfect location just a 10‑minute walk from a busy beach full of clubs and restaurants, and a bus stop nearby. The only suggestion I have is to replace the pillows with softer ones.

Beautiful, spotless hotel with an amazing pool area. A 5‑minute walk to the beach and plenty of restaurants and beach bars to choose from. Thanos is a fantastic host, very helpful and great to chat with. I can’t recommend this place enough; it was perfect.

Close to the beach, clean pool—probably renovated more recently than the rooms. I don’t know how this place gets good reviews for cleanliness and service. The bathrooms are badly in need of renovation; the door squeaks so loudly they probably hear it in Perissa village, the toilet has seen better times, and the shower is mouldy and very worn. Towels aren’t the cleanest anymore. Nothing happens around the pool, so I don’t know what “service” anyone has experienced here. The receptionist does his best, but it seems like he’s running the place alone. You can definitely find better for this price range.

The spot is great, only a 5‑minute walk to the sea, and the room offers a view of the pool and the water. Unfortunately our bathroom was too cramped for three people, but overall we managed and the rest was fine.

We stayed a few days and it matched exactly what we were after; the beach and restaurants are just a 5‑minute stroll away, while a local shop is only 2 minutes away. The pool was fantastic and never crowded, housekeeping came daily, and Thanos was incredibly friendly and always on hand. I’d definitely recommend Black Coast to anyone heading to Santorini.
