I spotted the friendly staff right away, and the room itself was pretty neat, complete with a fridge and microwave. At check‑in they handed me the TV remote, and there’s a good Mexican spot just next door. The food was tasty and the hotel’s close to a lot of attractions, though I only stayed one night. The door kept sticking, so I had to try a few times to open it, and the big trucks parked nearby were noisy, though I’m not sure if that’s always the case.

The room was spotless and cozy, and the AC kept it cool even with the Texas heat, plus the hot water was great. Just watch the shower temperature—it heats up fast! The shower and sink drained slowly, which makes me think there might be a clog somewhere in the plumbing, but otherwise I had no major issues.
