The staff were very friendly, and I liked the 50‑inch TV—it’s a huge improvement from five years ago when I stayed at a different hotel. A pool would have been nice.

I loved Unik Motel! The manager, owner, and staff clearly care about the place. The pantry‑cafe‑shop is a nice touch. I’ve stayed in many motels and usually expect below‑average quality, but Unik Motel was truly lovely. The bed and pillows were great, and the bathroom windows were a real plus for ventilation. It felt very safe and was within walking distance of Mexican restaurants. No complaints.

I usually book this place whenever I'm in California, and it never disappoints. The only gripe is that the TV lacks sports channels, so ESPN isn't available.
