The spot is great, but the beds are too short and hard, and the blankets are barely enough. There’s no mirror in the room and the furniture feels cheap and dark. The price is steep—370 € per night with no breakfast included. The hotel is listed as part of Hotel Calcita, yet the address on the booking points to an unmanned back door. I wouldn’t stay here again.

The location is close to the Vaporetto, and there’s a small garden with a fountain and an old building full of charm. The reception and breakfast and restaurant staff are very friendly and hardworking. Our room had lovely décor, pillows, etc., and the AC worked. The Wi‑Fi sometimes hiccupped, but hey, it’s a historic building!

The spot is fabulous for our group. Getting there from the train station was easy with luggage using the water bus. The room is spacious and the staff were really helpful. Breakfast was served outside right on the canal. Nothing really stood out as a problem—no iron, but we were on holiday!
