“Very nice place close to everything, would definitely recommend”
The place looked gorgeous, but on the first night the air‑conditioner broke and it was unbearable; the owner noticed the issue the next morning and had it fixed.
The location is good and central, there’s a mosquito net in front of the room, the bed is comfortable, and the room size is fine. The apartment is huge with a long hallway, two large living rooms, and two rooms that are available for rent. Everything is very dark with black walls. The bathroom for our room was accessed through the hallway. No bottled water or city map was provided for guests. At night it was very loud because the room faces the street and motorcycles keep passing by. It’s surprising that so many guests gave this place a 10.

The location was amazing and the apartment felt very safe and secure. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. The whole apartment was uniquely decorated with personal artwork, photos, beautiful crystal chandeliers, antiques, and vibrantly bold wallpapers. It was hard to find, so we told the host in advance that we were arriving early and needed to store our bags. No one was there to greet us and we had to wait for someone to arrive, which was a major inconvenience to our planned schedule. There are shared areas, including a kitchen where I expected to find cups, bowls, and plates, but there were none. For example, tea was available but nothing to make it in. The overall vibe of the apartment was very homey, so missing those small details was a missed opportunity for the host. There were also so many personal items in cabinets and drawers that it felt like we were intruding on someone’s private space, which was odd. The worst part of our stay was the noise from the apartment above us; we were kept awake until midnight with what sounded like a basketball game. The host couldn’t control that, but it’s something to know for future bookings.

We parked at Via Guglielmo Oberdan, which cost about 17 euros for two days and overnight, but that’s a half‑mile from the apartment. There was parking at the end of the hotel’s road, but it wasn’t clear if it could be used for a long stay and it was more expensive. The property is now managed by a property company. There was no place to drop off bags when we arrived in Ravenna, though the parking seemed relatively secure. The listing said there would be a washing machine, but none was available. We had specifically looked for a place with that amenity because a couple of weeks into our trip we needed to refresh items. Cooking was not allowed in the apartment.
