The staff were generally very helpful with requests, and I met some lovely people, so I would recommend it. One volunteer staff member, however, was unfriendly and seemed fed up.
This hostel on the edge of Tokashiki town felt cozy, clean, and homely. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, even offering a lift from Aharen port. I met other friendly travelers there and would recommend it.

We appreciated the hostel’s amenities—kitchen, shower, laundry, toilets, and common room. We slept in a four‑person futon room, which turned out to be quite comfortable. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. What really bothered us was the owner, who seemed unwelcoming, cold, direct, and nervous, and wasn’t hesitant to complain. The town itself didn’t have much to offer.
