The welcome was warm, feeling like home. Trains pass by the lodging during the day, so it can be noisy, but at night it’s very calm—maybe bring earplugs for late‑night wakes. The garden felt surrounded by nature; we saw squirrels, a monkey, and various birds. The property is a bit off‑center from Midigama, but a 10‑minute walk takes you to the town. I recommend this place. Nothing to add.

The host family—run by a mother and daughter—were incredibly kind. They rented me a scooter for a week and I enjoyed having my own bathroom inside the room. It did get a bit hot during the day, but the fan was helpful. The area is beautiful, with a jungle vibe, very close to the beaches, quieter than Ahangama, yet a short ride away. The hosts were incredible; thank you again for your warm hospitality! I wish you all the best. A/C would have been a godsend on hot days, and the Wi‑Fi was sometimes glitchy (but I could work from the co‑working space). Trains sometimes passed loudly, but you get used to it.

We stayed for a week and it was exceptional; the family were lovely and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. The space feels intimate with nature, like a little garden of Eden, a retreat from chaos. The kitchen is great, and with only three rooms the place stays very quiet 🙏🏼
