The property is an old Haweli in Jodhpur, beautifully restored with lots of blue and many stunning paintings. The rooftop terrace offers a great view of the fort and the city. The price is reasonable, but the stairs are steep and the doorways low, so I kept bumping my head because I’m not tall; it’s a cost you’re willing to accept unless stairs are a problem. The rooms felt a little dusty and I couldn’t figure out the switches. We had to settle the entire bill in cash, which drained our cash reserves; a VISA card would have been useful. The place isn’t well known to tuk‑tuk drivers, but we found it with Google Maps on my phone.

The employees were friendly, the inner courtyard and rooftop were lovely, and the room décor was nice. The only drawback is that cash is the only accepted payment method.

The room was very cute, and the view from the rooftop was beautiful, overlooking Mehrangarh Fort and the surrounding blue city. The staff were very kind and made my stay enjoyable; I’d definitely stay again next time I visit Jodhpur. The only downside was that the room’s height was low, so I hit my head several times—though that was my own fault.
