The bed was comfortable and clean. I wish the staff could better manage early‑morning noise—keep conversations low and avoid loud movements while tidying. I was unlucky enough to encounter a loud Indian couple who spoke loudly without considering others resting, which was very frustrating.

“Not only great value for the money but excellent privacy and in a great location.”

The dorm had mixed rooms with private partitions, and everyone was extremely respectful of one another. There were several toilets and showers that were conveniently located and well maintained. The lockers, both the larger ones outside in the hallway and the ones next to your bed, were unusable because the locks hadn’t been reset for the next guest.

Everything was close by. When I arrived at dawn, my sheets were dirty and nobody could replace them until the morning. There was no air in the room, the bathroom, or the hallway. The air‑conditioner seemed to do nothing, as if it wasn't working at all.

The spot is close enough to Bar Street and a quick stroll gives you a nice quay view. The toilets and bathrooms are adequate for the number of guests, and there's a washing machine. The built‑in water dispenser in the fridge has a weak flow, so a stronger one would help. Also, the curtain magnets are flimsy; a hook or another way to secure the curtains would prevent them from opening when someone walks by.

“An okay stay”

The staff were genuinely kind and helpful. I enjoyed the coffee and the shared area. The location and price were good on some days but not on others. The place was clean. The air‑con would shut off if you didn't keep it on overnight. The double rooms were too small for two people, and some areas smelled musty. We switched to the private room, which was better.
