The staff were very friendly! The property exuded a very calm atmosphere. It was a bit farther from Ubud, so we had to rely on transport.

The property is a true sanctuary of calm and greenery, since it isn’t in Ubud’s hyper‑center but offers free shuttles to it several times a day. It’s also easy to reach in 10 to 20 minutes by scooter depending on the hour and traffic. As for the accommodation itself: a gem. We had booked a villa with a pool, which is located toward the back of the property and therefore very quiet, away from any road noise and looks. The view of the rice fields is very nice, and even more so at sunset. The room is very beautiful, comfortable and well equipped. Despite the location, we were never bothered by mosquitoes. The entire staff is very friendly, smiling and welcoming throughout the stay. The breakfasts, included in our room, were plentiful, varied and delicious. Since the breakfasts are prepared in the restaurant next door, it is also possible to eat there for lunch and dinner, on site or by room service, which is very convenient for days when you don’t feel like going out. Home spa services are offered, as well as 24‑hour laundry pickup. In short, if I were to return to Ubud in the future, I would have a hard time choosing another accommodation than this one. The only slight drawback was the very dim lighting in the room.

“Not a 5 star hotel. Need to be cleaner and more thorough”

I was really disappointed by this hotel. It’s not 5 stars. They put me in a room that was ant‑infested. I had to contact them twice to spray ant killer and had to tell them to move me rooms. I also heard an actual animal IN the room, above the bed. I shouldn’t have had to ask to be moved to a new room – they should have offered it as soon as I contacted them about the ants the first time. Some of the staff was friendly, others looked miserable. When I checked in there was a young girl working the desk who was literally frowning. All of the males working were super friendly. I booked a river‑view room and they put me in a room originally off the side of the pool, with no river. It wasn’t until my second room that I saw the river. The bathroom floors in the second room were absolutely filthy. For a 5‑star hotel I expect a lot more.
