“Poo”

There was poo on the mattress and in the bathroom, and the room had existing rubbish inside; it wasn’t clean.

The shower worked and the water was hot, and the bed was comfortable and clean, but the front entrance door was locked and all lights were out in the building except for a single small light in the foyer; only one other car was in the parking lot, so I thought I might have to sleep in my car. I had to knock on the door for someone to attend, and the staff was not hospitable, placing me in the farthest room from the hotel; I had to ask to change rooms because the interior door handle was broken and the lock and barrel jammed. When I switched rooms, the TV had no signal, and when I asked the receptionist, he shrugged and walked away. There was no towel rail in the bathroom or a toilet roll holder, a damp square patch on the ceiling, and when I went downstairs in the morning there was no one present. Breakfast consisted of coffee in my bedroom. I can honestly say this is definitely not worth the £73.80 I paid; I should get a refund and the hotel should not advertise itself at these rates. Horrendous—never again.

“Did the job”

There was no restaurant or other facilities besides a three‑bedroom and bathroom, under some kind of refit/renovations. It was fine for the two nights: a clean room and helpful staff, but nothing more than a room at a very reasonable price; I would use it again for that reason, hoping renovations finish and the restaurant opens.

“Couldn't wait to get out of the flea pit”

Absolutely diabolical premises, filthy damp bedspreads, mattress protruding bedding, terrible. I tried to book another hotel but couldn’t get one until the morning—PLEASE NEVER BOOK HERE. I have photographs of the room and toilet. Everything was filthy: beds and bathroom.
