The garden with views of the two volcanoes, the self‑service restaurant kitchen, and the breakfasts (fruit pancakes or a savory plate with coffee) with the superb view were all fantastic. The manager was very friendly and offered great tourist suggestions, like guide‑free kayaking. The fridge was out of order and there was no Wi‑Fi in our room.

The location near the beach is very pleasant, the place is quiet, and you can easily spot birds and monkeys. The breakfasts are good. The accommodation was clean and the air conditioning was very pleasant. The staff were not very local. The breakfasts were included, but on Sunday morning we were asked if we wanted lunch… and it was called a restaurant even though it isn’t; you can eat there if you want, but it feels like a bother. The shower only had three jets, so I removed the nozzle to get more water! A broom and mop in the cabin would be nice, or daily housekeeping to clear dirt, stones, and shower water.

Very quiet, breakfast included and tasty. Staff were very friendly and helpful; we did a kayak trip with Antonio who drove us to a nice spot that wasn’t too touristy. If you’re traveling on a low budget as a couple, it’s a really good place to stay, great value for money!
