“Fab place would happily return. Close to Ausch which is worth visiting.”

The surroundings are superb and the buildings are lovely. The pool was the warmest we encountered in France on this trip. The restaurant is just superb. The food was wonderful and the service was perfect. It was also very good value. Electric car charging is available. The terrace of our room needs some attention; there were screws sticking up from the wooden decking that would benefit from some repair.

“Séjour correct”

Breakfast was hearty and varied, the room was spacious, and the cleanliness was generally fine—just the windows were a bit dirty. The dining area was simple but pleasant, and the staff were very professional and attentive, which we appreciated. However, the amuse‑bouche and mignardises were the same every night during our 4‑night stay; we’d have liked more variety 😏. For two consecutive evenings the dessert was chocolate, and on the last day the pool and relaxation area was crowded with young people who thought they were alone (they were celebrating a wedding the next day), so my husband and I couldn’t rest or read quietly. No staff intervened. At the last dinner we received risotto and, as dessert, rice pudding—what a disappointment to have the same repetition after a 4‑star property.

“Was expecting a quiet country house type hotel - instead found a slightly tired conference hotel.”

The food at the restaurant was excellent, but we had trouble finding a table. The staff were helpful and offered to move us to a different room because construction was happening next to ours; the new room was much nicer—the original had a deep‑black paint scheme. The overall layout and the extensive wooden decking look worn and tired. This place feels like a business or conference hotel. You can walk into Auch, but the path is unlit and lacks pavement. It’s a decent business hotel but not ideal for a quiet break, and if you don’t like cats, you’ll see many roaming around.

“Terribile”

The facility is nowhere near a 4‑star hotel level. The gardens were not maintained, the room resembled a motorway hotel, and the ‘chicca’ offered a view but smelled of donkey droppings right outside the balcony. It was truly disappointing, and the staff’s reaction was defensive rather than apologetic or remedial. The droppings outside our room were the main issue.
