I’d say this place is like a lotus in a swamp: the building itself looks pretty, but the location, access, and surroundings really ruin the experience. It sits in a very low‑income, slum‑like neighborhood, reached by a narrow, pothole‑laden road, and is far from most of Ho Chi Minh City’s main sights. It feels more like a local wedding and events venue than a hotel for international travelers. I was shocked by the prices: a bottle of water cost 42,000 VND, whereas a convenience store sells one for about 10,000 VND—over four times the usual rate, which seemed excessive. On top of that, my room was on the second floor with no elevator or bellboy. At 60 years old, I had to haul roughly 30 kg of luggage plus a 7 kg handbag up two flights of stairs and then bring everything back down at checkout. For a hotel, that lack of lift or assistance was disappointing. I had planned to stay longer, but after two days I left and booked my last night elsewhere. The property itself has potential, but the surrounding area, hard access, distance from attractions, inflated prices for basic items, and no help with luggage made the stay unsuitable for me.

The outdoor space is very pretty. The entire stay was disappointing.

Very comfortable, the staff were communicative. The place was quiet and relaxing. No restaurants within walking distance.

Beautiful pool and views, charming old‑school furniture and design, and the staff were incredibly lovely and helpful. The resident cats and dog were a wonderful bonus! It may not suit people with mobility limitations. There were a few minor room limitations, but the helpful staff and overall experience far outweighed them.
