We spent a night in Albania and the room was spotless, with a balcony that gave us a gorgeous view. The host was friendly and pointed us toward some tasty local eateries, which made the short stay feel pleasant.

Everything in the flat was tidy, but the bathroom door wouldn't stay shut and we couldn't track down the owner when we tried to leave. That little hassle left a sour note at the end of an otherwise neat stay.

The spot is fantastic – you get a stunning view and everything is clean. The only downside is that there's no air‑conditioning, which makes the summer heat a bit uncomfortable.
