Being in an environment full of love for the local traditions, the cabins, hammocks, and every detail of nature makes you feel in paradise. It would be great to have a sign on the road! Although they were very attentive to our arrival. In fact, they waited for us and made us feel at home all the time.

The cabin turned out to be cozier than I expected and right by the Tayrona park entrance, which was a real plus. Unfortunately the toilet seat was broken and checkout dragged on while staff made phone calls to sort out the payment.

The property and its owners were friendly, making it an ideal launchpad for exploring the park and soaking up the jungle vibe. The only downside was the lack of hot water and the very basic, almost rustic setup, which might turn off guests who prefer more comfort.

The lodge sits right by a clear, pleasant‑temperature river and is just a short walk to Tayrona park, with restaurants, shops and easy public and private transport nearby. The rooms were tidy, the beds comfy, the Wi‑Fi fast, and the staff went out of their way to help.
