The location is very good. This is my second stay at the property. In my first visit I was really impressed, but this time I felt a bit let down. The bathroom ceiling had many spider webs, also on the standing lamp in the room. Luckily a spider didn’t come at me 😉

Calm, in a tiny town with great views. The only drawback was the difficulty of getting there from Hannover.

There isn’t much to praise, but the staff were friendly, the Wi‑Fi worked, and the proximity to Steinhuder Meer was convenient. The room furnishings are very outdated, the brown carpet is stained, the furniture is clearly old, and the brown, old curtains make the room even darker. The garden looks like a junkyard, the hallway and stairwell are uninviting, the breakfast selection is very limited, and the breakfast room feels cold and unwelcoming.

Close to the highway. The owner was Norse, and there was a lot of dust.
