I had a confirmed reservation at this hostel, but when I arrived they told me there were no vacancies. Showing them my booking, they said they’d only let me stay if I paid cash for a different room. It was almost midnight, so I had no choice but to pay. I explained that my original booking was non‑refundable, so I’d have to pay for both rooms, but they told me to cancel the earlier one. In the morning, when I asked for a refund for the cancelled booking, they became very rude and refused to pay. I ended up paying three times the original rate for a single night that the hostel denied me, and I want my cancelled booking fee reimbursed.

“Affordable Stay, but Breakfast and Internet Need Improvement”

A solid choice for budget travelers and backpackers: the vibe is friendly, the staff are welcoming and helpful, and it’s a good spot to meet people from around the world. The downside is that the free breakfast promised in the booking fee never arrived, and the internet was unreliable and slow.

“Confirmed Booking, But No Room Available – Extremely Disappointing Experience”

I was very disappointed. I booked the guesthouse, received confirmation for my selected date and time, but when I arrived the staff said no rooms were available and the guesthouse was fully booked. Confirming a booking only to be turned away is unacceptable, wasted my time, and caused unnecessary inconvenience. I would not recommend this guesthouse because of its poor booking management and unreliability.

“Will be back for sure.”

The room was clean, but the Wi‑Fi was outdated. The air‑conditioning worked well and the staff were friendly and helpful, able to organize any paperwork you need for your stay in Tajikistan. I think an update would be good; the walls could use a scrub.
