“Perfect place to see Kyoto”

The location was spot on, rooms were close to everything, staff were helpful, and the coffee shop and donut shop below were fantastic.

“Very spacious rooms in a great location, very clean”

The rooms were huge and they even offered free sake for a good part of the day and into the evening; the place is centrally located for sightseeing in Kyoto, close to the train station and a major shopping market area, and the ramen spot right next door is delicious, plus there are convenience stores and several malls nearby for rainy‑day shopping. The only downside is that the washer/dryer is a bit tricky to use—once you figure it out it works, but it takes a long time and doesn’t open until it cools down.

“Lovely hotel in great loaction”

The hotel was lovely, with a good location and nice rooms that also had a washer/dryer, which was handy after the typhoon the day before we arrived; free wine and sake were available at reception from 12:00, and the staff were very friendly. The hotel sits right next to a covered shopping center with food stalls, which is great if it rains. Nothing else to note.
