Nothing at all. It was dirty. Beds and bathroom were dirty. No toilet paper. No towels. No lockers. And you couldn’t even lock any door! Even the main one to the street was open all day and all night, anyone could go inside. Also the rooms doors and the bathroom door couldn’t be locked.

The location, plenty of space, few people, balcony, not cramped. I can’t complain, the price is great.

The place is cheap for an 8‑person hostel in Patong. It has a balcony. I was leaking all night through a hole in the ceiling over my bed. The shower pump was hanging off the wall. The beds were unstable and uncomfortable, they also gave my friend a rash which we think was bed bugs. We were not given room keys and the doors were unlocked, so safety was a concern.

We didn’t like a single thing: the beds were awful, the room smelled bad, and the toilet was basically unusable in my view, so we avoided it and headed to the shopping centre instead. Counting the days until we could leave felt like a joke.
