The front desk staff greeted me with smiles and were very courteous, which I really appreciated, and despite the high cost of living the breakfast was only 500 yen and the complimentary welcome drink refill was a nice touch. However, I couldn't ignore the mold around the sink and bathtub faucets, and the air‑conditioner was impossible to get right – it stayed hot even when set to 28 °C and would suddenly become freezing, making it hard to sleep.

Close to the train station, the Chinese quarter, and a short walk to the port, but the air‑conditioner blew straight into the bed, which was very uncomfortable.
