The location is very good for a trip to Strasbourg, right on Tram line D. Unfortunately there were some shortcomings: the room door had clearly been broken and only crudely patched, several pillows probably had blood stains, and overall the place looked very shabby. Breakfast was fine, but I can’t stand coffee with milk powder.

The location is good, breakfast is okay, there’s a mini‑fridge, enough parking, and it’s easy to get to Strasbourg by tram. The ventilation is a fan instead of an air‑conditioner, and there are hardly any restaurants nearby.

You can buy a tram ticket at the hotel and reload it at the machines at the stops; just ask if it’s unclear how it works. The receptionist lady explained everything clearly, unlike the gentleman on arrival day. Strasbourg’s many sights are a quick trip away. If you return late, the door opens with a card reader. The hotel sits on a main road, so you’ll hear cars and trams; some rooms face a gas station, others a Lidl, and on weekends a nightclub can get pretty loud at night. The mattresses are very firm, so be careful if you’re sensitive. My simple room had no shelf or wardrobe, so I had to live out of my suitcase; the hallway had a short rod with two hangers.

The breakfast was fine. The room was very noisy from the street. There was only about 40 cm between the foot of the bed and the wall. The carpet and chair in the room were quite spotted.

The hotel was close to the street heading to Strasbourg, but the noise was hardly noticeable. We stayed for one night after a multi‑day bike tour; we could lock our e‑bikes in a garage and charge the batteries. The breakfast was too expensive, so we had breakfast at a bakery in town instead.
