“Nice place but terrible management”
The property and its staff are great, and the place is clean and comfortable. However, the policies clearly state that they accept credit cards, yet the staff told me they didn’t have a terminal for my card. I usually pay everything with a credit card, but they insisted on cash or a local bank transfer. If they had mentioned this upon arrival, I would have looked elsewhere. The staff member was friendly, but it seemed he was following orders from above—a common practice in Cusco that feels uneasy for tourists. I’m fine with paying in cash, but they should inform guests when they arrive or update their policy. Luckily I have a Peruvian bank account, so I had to transfer dollars from another account at 1 am to make the payment. This is totally unacceptable, and I would advise others to avoid this place at all costs.
