“An excellent hostel, clean and well situated”

The host was lovely, and they provided two clean towels each day. The lounge was super nice and everything was spotless, with decent lockers and big showers. There were plenty of toilets and showers, so I never had to wait. The location was excellent, with buses to Bulgaksa temple and Namsan mountain just a 3‑minute walk away. Six people per dorm is reasonable for a peak hostel. Overall, everything was great—no complaints even when I tried to find something. Maybe there was no bed linen, but that’s common in Korea.

The price‑to‑value was good and the spot is fine for evening walks to Cheongseongdae or Woljeonggyo, plus it’s convenient for a meal at Seongdong Market. The only downside is that the men's restroom is on another floor, so you have to climb stairs up and down, which is a bit inconvenient.

I stayed for four or five days and the place was spotless—no dust at all. For a hostel, it feels upscale and very quiet, with plenty of food nearby. Within a minute you can catch a bus that goes to almost every major city attraction. Hanna, the host, was the warmest person I’ve met; she happily helped travelers and answered my city‑tour questions, even calling the airline to sort out a booking issue for me 😭. She also made sure guests were spread out in different rooms, so I was usually alone or with one roommate, never more than three people, keeping the space quiet and comfortable. She really cares. If I ever return to Gyeongju, I’ll definitely stay here again.

The hostel is very well located, everything is very clean, and the atmosphere is very calm. The staff are also very friendly.
