Nothing really good; everything was bad. I would warn anyone about room 6 and suggest they stay elsewhere. I filmed mold in the bathroom windows and shower, and the room looked like it would fail a health inspection because of the filth. I was told it was going to be painted tomorrow—what does that even mean?

It was cheap—just £29 a night—and the green area opposite was nice to look at. The guy at a nearby takeaway was friendly, and the chicken wrap with salad was good. But where do I start? I expected basic for the price I paid (£29) and I’ve stayed in better hostels! The fridge in the room was a biohazard, covered in sour milk and mold. The shower didn’t provide warm water—probably due to low pressure—so it was awful after a hard day at work. I saw lots of people outside smoking marijuana, yet no hotel staff came around the whole time to address my concerns, even though I arrived at 4 pm. The reception area was a total bomb site and looked horrific to customers on entry.
