What's more, the hotel is situated in the heart of an authentic Belizean community, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the local culture. However, I did encounter some pesky sand fleas that were a minor nuisance.

To make the most of your stay, be sure to rent a sturdy vehicle like a Toyota 4 Runner and take a thrilling drive through the river - just don't forget to opt for full insurance if you're not well-versed in 4-wheel driving. The hotel provides a safe and supportive environment to learn and hone your skills.

I had a wonderful stay at this enchanting getaway, where the lovely hosts made us feel right at home. The location is a gem, with a beautiful natural pool on the river and just a short walk from Barton Creek. I wholeheartedly recommend this place and plan to return for a longer stay in the future. The experience was truly unforgettable, and I'm grateful for the wonderful memories.
