The spot is right by the lake – perfect for a quick dip or a sunset walk.
We loved the spa, pool, location and the character of the room – it was spacious and nicely decorated, plus the free bike hire was handy.
The front desk and breakfast crew were super friendly, made us feel welcome right away.
Rooms are tidy and look nice.

“Excellent hotel with super friendly staff”
The staff were extremely helpful and nothing felt like a hassle; the hotel itself was charming and the meals were tasty. Little touches like a handwritten note on each breakfast table, a family name on the table, a tour of the property, and the overall friendliness of everyone made a big difference. Nothing to complain about.
The staff were respectful and the rooms were fine, but there was no air conditioning.
The staff were great and the location brilliant. We stayed during a heat wave and it was just too hot. There was no air conditioning, but they did provide fans. Nothing else to note.

Nothing… it was really bad. The room was in a side building, there was no elevator, the stairwell smelled terribly, and the room faced a heavily trafficked street. The romantic vibe was definitely missing; I won’t book there again.
