“Delusa e infastidita”
The b&b’s spot is great, close to the courthouse, and the area feels safe. We never met the owner in person because our schedules didn’t match, but he sent us clear self‑check‑in instructions. He managed to waive the tourist tax and couldn’t offer the promised breakfast because the bar had just closed, yet he seemed available and attentive from afar. Unfortunately, politeness can’t replace an environment that needs serious upkeep. I’m a flexible person and don’t usually write negative reviews, but the stay was uncomfortable. I booked the red room (“'A muntagna”). The bathroom lacked a bidet, only a shower head near the toilet. The sink clogged after a few seconds, and it was unpleasant to see toothpaste and other items floating in stagnant water even after 20 minutes of no use. Toilet paper can’t be flushed because of the sanitary system, so it has to be thrown in the bin, which feels unhygienic. The shower head was stuck and couldn’t turn. The place looked clean at first glance, but closer inspection revealed a significant build‑up of grime next to the shower enclosure. After a whole day out, any guest would want a clean, healthy environment rather than having to fix things that don’t work or are poorly cleaned. A bottle of water would have been nice, but none was provided. Also, the furnishings and surroundings are shabby; it seems someone tried to hide issues with bright paint. I regret posting a negative review, but I feel it’s fair to inform future guests. P.S. My friend stayed in the blue room, “U mari”; her sink also clogged immediately and she disliked the shower enclosure, encountering similar problems.
