“If you value your time and money, stay away!!!”

Nothing! I didn’t get a chance because the hotel cancelled my reservation at the last minute, even though I paid in full in advance. On my way to the hotel around check‑in time, Rosa from the hotel called and cancelled my reservation, saying she had an emergency. She promised a refund, but almost a month has passed, no refund, no response to messages, and she’s not returning my calls.

The host wouldn’t open the gate for me to access my reserved room, verbally abused me, and left me stranded in the dark at her place, which was literally in the middle of nowhere off a busy highway. Because of language issues and the fact she never gave me the driver’s name, I was supposed to meet. I ended up taking the wrong car from the train station to her facility. I apologize for the misunderstanding, but she called me a liar and hurling abuses at me through the gate, saying she didn’t want me to stay. I was left alone at 73‑year‑old woman’s place in the dark in the middle of nowhere. I had travelled all day across the country to reach her place, which she knew, and she persisted in misunderstanding the situation and assumed I was lying about the car she booked for me. The car she booked was actually $16 more than the one I ended up taking. One wonders why she would charge a guest more than the going rate. I had to rely on a stranger’s kindness to get to the airport and find another accommodation that night at great expense. I expect a full refund for what I paid and that this host be censored, penalized, and hopefully have her listing canceled. I have never had such an experience and, despite numerous apologies on my part for the misunderstanding for which she was partially responsible, she didn’t give enough information.

We needed to get to the airport by 4 am, so this was the best option. Walking to the airport takes 10 minutes. A very pleasant girl met us and explained everything. Thanks! We’ll definitely recommend it to friends. Ideal for early‑morning airport transfers, but note that we had no luggage and small children.

“I hadn’t read reviews for Fly to Venice, I wish I had.”

The bed was comfy, but the 50 euro taxi to Marco Polo Airport felt a bit pricey for a 3‑minute trip, and the 10 euro breakfast was not worth it. Even though the hotel was close to the airport, the money you thought you’d save ended up costing more with the taxi.
