“I have used booking com for many years and this is my first 10/10 rating - For The Hotel and staff”
First of all, the hotel was modern and the decor lovely. I liked the carpet in the room, it was different from other hotels and a pleasant change. The shower had both a rain shower and normal attachment with controls that actually worked, unlike some other hotels. There was no mould any where around the shower. I am not a lover of continental breakfasts, but that is just me. There was lots of choice available. Europeans do tend to over cook their bacon, it's just a personal thing from a British perspective, we dont tend to cook our bacon that much! It would be good to have a seperate jug for the milk for cereal though. So the hotel is modern, every thing is very clean and the staff, well they are wonderful and very helpful for requests and information. Getting to the hotel is simple by bus or tram. 10 out of 10 as far as I am concerned. Visit Swojski Smak restaurant. Plus the donut shop at Podwale Staromiejskie, Gdańsk. Also day trips to Sopot for the Polish riveria and hire a bike with Mevo (app) (1 and half hours £5) and Gdynia for ships and the submarine at the museum. In Gdansk it'self was the beauty of the buildings and the Live butterfly museum. Pictures are found of all these places in this post. Get yourself a 72 hour transit pass. Plus take the 30 min train to Malbork and the castle, treat yourself to first class on the train. Overall a wonderfull 4 days. There is nothing to dislike
