“shocking”

I booked two rooms a couple of months ago at Extended Stays America in El Segundo, Los Angeles, because it was convenient for the conference we were attending. After 20 hours of traveling, we were told the place was overbooked and we’d be moved to a hotel 30 minutes away, which was totally unacceptable. The trip centered around that location, and we had business appointments scheduled at the hotel. The front‑desk staff member, Cienna, was unhelpful and uninterested in resolving our situation; she only said “you can cancel.” She cancelled the reservation without informing us, leaving us stranded after flying across the world for the conference. In 35 years of travel I’ve never encountered someone so rude and uncaring. We ended up paying a lot more to stay local for the conference, and Extended Stays America is a place we’ll never visit again.

The spot was convenient, and you really get what you pay for. However, the check‑in was listed for 3 pm, and I couldn’t access my room until after 3:30. I’d booked the king/pullout couch room, but it was unavailable and instead I got two double beds. The phone in the room didn’t work, and the shower never got hot.

“Experiência péssima!”

The front‑desk staff were very rude, and I was mistreated by the receptionist. I couldn’t check in because they said the hotel was overbooked, so I had to move to a different hotel.

“orribile”

Nothing good. Everything was terrible: the place was filthy, the room smelled, the receptionist tried to charge me for the room a second time even though I’d already paid online, parking cost $20 a night, and there was no breakfast. I don’t recommend it; we spent a night in a nightmare. Shameful for the $130 a night I paid.
