The place is in a solid spot and the building is simple but functional. The room looked exactly like the photos, but it was covered in mold—so much that I couldn't sleep and had to grab some meds in the middle of the night. Not a good fit if you have asthma or allergies.

I had a flawless stay—no hiccups at all. The owner and front desk were super friendly, the room was comfy and had everything I needed, and they were flexible with check‑in times. I was genuinely impressed and already planning to come back.

It's not right on the beach in Salvador, but the location is great and there are plenty of nearby amenities. The downside? You can't get breakfast at the building’s restaurant, even if you pay extra.
