1 double bed
The setting is nice, but the facilities maintenance is pretty bad. Lol.
The tent is low quality and cheap, not luxurious, outdated, and uncomfortable. The camp isn’t well maintained and is too expensive for what’s offered. I only stayed one night.
A very nice campsite, peaceful, yet shops and a few restaurants are nearby. The included breakfast buffet was good. There’s a campfire in the evening, and a 16 km hiking loop is a great option. Not all staff speak fluent English, but the lady at reception does, which is very helpful.
“Viel een beetje tegen”
The location is near the park entrance. We stayed two days in July (low season, rain) with kids aged 8 and 11. We were the only guests, yet it felt like the camp was closed—another camp across the street had been shut for months. Two young girls had to look after us; they didn’t speak English and seemed unhappy. The tent smelled musty and damp, the breakfast was greasy, and exposed electrical wires in the shower were dangerous. The photos on the listing set high expectations that the experience didn’t meet, especially for the price we paid. I’d advise the owner to close the camp during the low season.
“leuke en gezellige lokatie”
The tiny bungalow is fully equipped, the bed is great and there's plenty of space. The air‑conditioning works well and can even heat up when it gets cold. The outdoor area with a campfire in the evening feels cozy, and you can dine there (the food is fine) and also have breakfast (choose from a set menu), which quickly lets you connect with other guests. The private bathroom area is cramped, especially when sitting on the toilet. Unfortunately, there was no hot water, and I find it odd that the gas boiler is mounted in the shower room, which could be dangerous due to carbon monoxide emissions.
