The hotel offers ski‑in/ski‑out access to the Uwanodai slopes and plenty of on‑site amenities, with staff who are very friendly and a restaurant that serves great food. The room itself is clean but feels dated and creaky, and because it sits on the slopes you have to climb a 5‑minute uphill walk from the base station, which isn’t very accessible.

The owner is humorous and attentive; because my language skills are limited, he patiently used translation software to explain everything. I stayed 5 days and 4 nights, and every breakfast was different, though all were delicious. The hotel’s restaurant was open during the day and the food was tasty and reasonably priced compared to the surrounding area. The wooden cabin feels a bit old and the sound insulation isn’t great, but overall the environment is clean and comfortable.

“Great host, fantastic location ski in/ski out.”

The host and hostess were great, and the location was a pleasant surprise; they helped us haul our bags up the hill. The music and dinners were really good, and the vibe was excellent. The bed was very hard, but everything else was fine.

I loved the place – it’s in a convenient spot for skiing, just a short walk up the slope. We used the escalator at Jupeer before walking up the hill to avoid the slippery part near the road. The host was great and the music collection was awesome, with jazz, soul, and funk tunes all day. Breakfast and dinner at the hotel were also excellent. The bed was a bit hard, and the quilt could have been a little wider for two people.
