A characterful house with an absolutely spectacular view, a cozy room and a great bathroom (even though it’s on the lower floor). The kitchen is practically empty, lacking knives, forks, plates, glasses, etc. There is a fridge and an oven.

“Bello da migliorare”

The room is spacious, on the second floor of an apartment with a large kitchen and living area. The terrace overlooks the sea. On the second floor there are two rooms; one was occupied by another couple. Soap was missing in the shower. A hand‑soap dispenser was present but didn’t detach from the wall. The room window didn’t close properly. The toilet was a bit broken; the flush jammed.

“Bello sì ma qualcosa da migliorare”

The location is truly strategic, between the historic center and the harbor. The real added value is the magnificent terrace: the sea view and the old town are simply spectacular and make up most of the stay. The apartment spans two levels, and the lower floor has a nice lounge and a well‑maintained shared kitchen. When we arrived the room wasn’t perfectly clean and there was a strong, unpleasant closed‑off smell, details that affect the first impression. Even though we knew we had booked a private bathroom separate from the room, the layout turned out very inconvenient. The rooms are on the upper floor, while the bathroom is on the lower floor next to the entrance door. To reach it you have to leave the room, go down the stairs, and cross the common living area. A setting that offers charming views and an excellent position to experience Gaeta, but that requires an adaptable spirit because of the space arrangement and would benefit from better initial cleanliness.
