I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and spaciousness of the room. The neighborhood was super quiet, which was a plus. The large pool was partially shaded, but it was still a nice spot to relax. The staff were friendly and welcoming. However, the room could use a refresh, and the view from our room (308) was a bit underwhelming, looking out at the rooftops. The pool area itself was a bit bare-bones and could use some updating.

The hotel's got some good points, like the massive room and convenient location between BKK and Bangkok proper. But, the bed was ridiculously firm and the water from the shower and faucet had a weird, mouldy smell. Still, the cleanliness and size of the room made up for some of the issues.

At first, I thought the soi was a bit deserted, but once I got to the hotel, it was great. The security guard and reception staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, the air con was cold, and there was hot water, bottled water, and a plug right next to the bed. The security system was top-notch. The only thing I'd say is that it was a bit pricey.

The water pressure was actually pretty good, but that's about where the positives end. The place was disgustingly dirty and old, and it looked nothing like the pictures they posted online. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

If you're coming to see a concert at the Royal Manger, this is a great place to stay. For the price, I thought it was excellent. The staff were friendly and polite, and the security guard was super helpful when I got lost looking for my room. The area is safe, even for solo travelers, and the room was clean and cool. I'd definitely stay here again if I had the chance.
