The night was very good; we enjoyed the good breakfast and continued our journey home!
The ladies serving breakfast were very friendly. The room was nothing like the photos: mold on the walls, mold in the bathroom, no way to block the windows so the interior was visible, and the owner didn’t answer calls.
Nothing! We arrived at 20:00, the reception was missing. Outside sat a woman with two men, calmly drinking. When asked how to check in, they smiled, then the woman pulled out a phone, checked the surname, and showed us the room. The room was a nightmare: the bed was ancient, the pillows had seen a thousand people! The sheets were far from fresh, and it wasn’t even clear if they had been washed. Dark towels, possibly unwashed. In the bathroom only an old bottle of hand soap; the bathtub was unclean, with hair on the floor. The carpet was old, dirty, stained, and the room smelled awful—like a grandpa’s stench. My wife and I packed our stuff, and in half an hour they took it back and left to find another hotel. When we left the key, we saw the same scene: the two men and the woman continued drinking, not even asking why we were leaving. Half of the woman’s face was bruised, with a black eye. So anyone looking for accommodation at Villa Ventanna is advised not to go—an extremely disgusting place.
The only positive thing I can mention is the fairly affordable price and good breakfast. The lack of a night lamp, the cramped room, the squeaky, old‑style bed, the broken TV, and the holey bathroom door were all issues.
Yes. Breakfast.
