“I would stay again”

The property was clean, featured a nice pool area and great breakfast, and the restaurant was good too. The bed was very hard and caused back pain, and there was a lot of noise, but that came from neighboring rooms having parties, not from the hotel itself.

“I felt I couldn’t drive away fast enough in the morning”

There wasn’t much to say; the place looked very run down. The first view was the parking lot—full of holes and poorly maintained.

“Not worth the cost!”

The spot was decent, but the parking lot was riddled with deep potholes, making it hard for our elderly guest who ended up on the second floor with no elevator. The entrance and hallway carpets looked stained and dirty, and the bathroom door was so jammed that someone had previously punched a hole into it, which still hasn’t been repaired. Inside the room, the carpet felt sticky, and the AC was set at 64°F when we arrived; even after we tried to adjust it, the unit kept running. We had to keep our coats on in the room, and the pool was out of service. Overall, the price was high for the state of the place. The front‑desk staff were polite at check‑in but seemed annoyed during check‑out, and the building’s age was evident in the poor maintenance. We didn’t request a different room because we only intended to stay one night, but we left as soon as we could instead of staying for breakfast.

The exterior needs major renovation, but the interior is fantastically updated! The parking lot could use a refresh.
