The hostel was super comfy and chill, my private room was immaculate and had a really comfy bed that gave me a great night’s sleep; the family was lovely and the kids were cute and sweet, so I’d definitely come back.
“Would definitely come back. Exceptional value!”
It was very peaceful, a contrast to the loud and busy Can Tho. Lots of young backpackers made for a great vibe. Food and drinks were available. The owner was lovely, helpful, and always around. The tours they suggested were excellent, with pick‑up and drop‑off at the hostel. We liked everything.
“Nice and simple place in the countryside, yet not too far from the city center.”
This simple, basic hostel still provides toilet paper and shampoo for everyone. The firm mattress was good for my back. It’s interesting for Westerners to see people from the poor to the middle class living side by side, and there’s no crime or robbery. If you’re vegetarian, a vegetarian restaurant is about 800 meters away, close to the “grape farm.” Other eateries and cafés are nearby, and you can take a bus to Lotte Mart, a large supermarket. The hostess is very hospitable and attentive. In terms of location, it’s outside the city center, which is exactly what I was looking for, so it wasn’t a drawback for me.
A quiet spot in a village where you can bike along the river. The owner and her family are genuinely kind, speak English, and help book tours, transport, or anything you need. The food is cheaper than the nearby restaurants. My private room was spacious, clean, and fully equipped. I loved it so much that I extended my stay to explore more of Can Tho!
The owner was incredibly friendly and kept the place super quiet.
