I was greeted with a warm welcome from the owners, and the owner gave solid recommendations for nearby restaurants. The lounge bar is a must‑visit for pre‑dinner drinks, especially the local micro‑brewery beers and well‑served gin tonics.

Considering the price, I expected at least a decent standard, not the bare minimum; at €390 a night I still had no food or drinks in the room, which is unacceptable. There was constant noise of unknown origin, and the “shower” was actually a bathtub; no toothpaste was provided, which was truly disappointing. We also had to wait at least 15 minutes outside the hotel before the doors opened.
