Mawella Beach Resort feels like a slice of paradise, with the beach right at its doorstep, a lovely pool, and peaceful surroundings that make it a perfect spot to relax. Our room was exceptionally comfortable, spotless, and spacious. Seeing monkeys roam the grounds and spotting a peacock added an extra special touch. What really made our stay unforgettable were the people: Prasad deserves a special shout‑out for being always available, friendly, helpful, and endlessly kind, with a gentle, calm presence and a warm smile that made us feel truly welcomed and cared for—he’s a credit to the hotel. We also want to thank Mr Chandrasiri for making our time here so special. It’s the warmth of people like these that stays with you long after the holiday ends. We’ll always remember the wonderful setting, exceptional comfort, and hospitality, and we’d happily return and wholeheartedly recommend this beautiful place. The only regret was not staying longer.
