“Ein außergewöhnlicher Aufenthalt -TOP !”

We spent four nights at Oka I Po and the whole site felt like a dream, tucked in a valley among the mountains with typical Slavic architecture. The grounds feature a natural pool with water features, fish and a central pavilion, plus a cozy bar by the pool and many playful details and plenty of kids’ activities. The incredibly warm and attentive host family seemed to read our wishes, making us feel completely at ease. Meals came entirely from their own production and were wonderfully traditional—a real treat. The owner spoke a bit of English and his daughter was fluent, so communication was easy. Their friendly Golden Retriever loved being petted. We want to thank them sincerely; it was an extraordinary stay with extraordinary hosts. “Genoten van een prachtige en rustige omgeving bij warme mensen.”

The location, authentic character, and hospitality are great. You can feel that the owner genuinely wants to give you a pleasant holiday. We love this kind of small‑scale hotel. There’s nothing negative to say, though some spots could use a bit of touch‑up. The owner is definitely working to get everything back in perfect order.

“Soggiorno di una notte”

The exterior structure is very pretty and typical, with a green park, a small lake with running water, a kiddie pool, playgrounds for children, and a gazebo for outdoor lunches. The room is very basic with a sofa bed; under the bed there’s a lot of dirt and spiders hanging everywhere on the ceiling, windows don’t close properly, and there are cobwebs in the bathroom too. The shower curtain at the bottom is yellowed, and there are many black spots in the corners of the shower. The bathroom window lacks curtains, and overall the cleaning and care of the rooms and bathroom need more attention.

A magical place in the middle of the forest with the best air I’ve ever breathed 🙏 Ivan and Yevonka, the owners, are stunning, smiling, and answered every request 🙏 It’s very remote, but anyone who loves nature will want to be there. I’ll definitely return 🤍🤍

Extremely friendly hosts who try to please guests. A very beautiful location for nature lovers and a true rest without the need for internet. Delicious and abundant food based on local dishes
