The hotel is very pretty, could be an international‑quality hotel, and the staff are super friendly. The area around it feels a little tense at night; in fact, while we were looking for the hotel, many people warned us to be careful finding the location. The next day everything seemed nicer and less dangerous.

The staff were very kind and attentive, especially the front‑desk guy who helped us a lot during our stay. The breakfast was delicious and very varied, definitely one of the hotel’s strengths. It’s a shame that with better maintenance the experience could have been much better. The bathroom had insects, smelled damp, and had mold stains, which is a major hygiene and maintenance issue for me. What bothered me most was the ban on wearing a burkini in the pool for hygiene reasons. In a Muslim country, and since a burkini is basically a swimsuit made of the same fabric as other swimsuits but covering the whole body, I found that rule quite shocking. Moreover, this prohibition was not indicated anywhere during booking; we only learned about it upon arrival, which should have been communicated clearly before booking.

Good value for money, the hotel is extremely clean and cozy. The food at the restaurant is delicious and the breakfast is hearty and included in the room rate. The staff are incredibly friendly, helpful and eager to fulfill any request. The rooftop pool is pleasant. Street parking is available next to the medina. Azemmour itself isn’t very clean (nothing to do with the hotel). The medina feels a little abandoned, but the hotel is well maintained.

A very good hotel, but the location is really mediocre, the parking spot is on a scary street, with lots of people and noise at night.
